#LogicalProgression
A weekly class on Islamic foundational principles, theology, law and ethics based on al-Sharḥ’l-Mumti’ ‘alā Zād’l-Mustaqni’. Taught weekly by Ustadh Abu Eesa Niamatullah.

Many Muslims attend study circles and seminars to learn about and further their understanding of this religion and its objectives. They jump from topic to topic, week by week, and many begin to feel frustrated or stunted in their learning when they do not progress beyond a very basic level.

That is why we at Prophetic Guidance are proud to present a long term study programme based on Shaykh al-ʿUthaymīn’s book of fiqh called al-Sharḥ al-Mumtiʿ ʿalā Zād al-Mustaqniʿ. It is taught once a week here on the LP portal. We start at the very beginning, cover important principles which aid the students in understanding more nuanced issues, and foster a learning environment where students can build upon what they learn and reach new heights biʾidhnillah. That’s what we call a Logical Progression. =)

#QuranicProgression
Literally, a Quranic Progression that encompasses many of the different sciences of the Qur’an from language to eloquence to fiqh to qira’at to principles of tafseer. Taught weekly by Shaykh Ahsan Hanif.

We will begin from Surat al-Nas and work backwards towards Surat al-Baqarah, in order to delve into the Qur’anic surahs which many of us are more familiar with and recite daily in our prayers.

The class will be the first of its kind online. Each week I will aim to provide a detailed ayah by ayah tafseer to encourage a deeper understanding of the Book of Allah, including an in-depth explanation of each ayat, word-by-word examination, delving into the meaning of the verses as well as the various forms of recitation and what effect they may have on meaning, the grammar of the Arabic language, the jurisprudential rulings extracted from the verses, the stories from centuries past, the wisdoms and lessons applicable to daily life, and the principles derived from the Book of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
